The Son of Leonard and Anna Lee Hinderliter who own a Cattle and Wheat Farm in Northwest Oklahoma. Graduated from Mooreland High School, Mooreland, Oklahoma in 1959. Thereafter attended Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (1964) and Master of Science Degree (1965) in Mechanical Engineering.
7 years experience in Design of Aircraft for Cessna and Boeing Aircraft Companies in Wichita, Kansas and as a Jet Pilot for the Kansas Air National Guard flying the Martin B-57 "Canberra" Jet Aircraft.
Founded what is now Delco Cleaning Systems of Fort Worth (www.dcs1.com) in April of 1973. Delivered first Mobile Power Wash Rig for another contract cleaner in December 1973. Founded and operated Mobile Enterprises, a mobile power wash company, for 10 years. Built the company up to 26 employees, 5 mobile power wash units and over $1,000,000.00 in sales before selling the company to devote full time to the pressure washer distribution business.
Since 1973 Delco Cleaning Systems of Fort Worth has grown into the nation's largest suppliers of Mobile Power Wash equipment, parts, chemicals, schools, seminars & Training Videos. Toll Free Technical Support is also provided for products purchased from Delco Cleaning Systems of Fort Worth. Primary distribution is United States, Canada, and South America.
Delco Cleaning Systems of Fort Worth started Mobile Power Wash Training Schools and Training Videos for Contract Cleaners in 1982. Presently Schools are conducted for Mobile Power Washing (www.dcs1.com/DEL/DelcoSch.html)and Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning (www.dcs1.com/del/kitsch.html). And Seminars are conducted for Power Washer Maintenance and Environmental Power Washing (www.dcs1.com/DEL/seminars.html).
Founded "Power Washers of North America" (www.pwna.org), A National Trade Organization for Contract Cleaners, in the September-October, 1992 issue of "The Delco Wats Blaster" (Delco Cleaning Systems of Fort Worth Newspaper & Tabloid Catalog). The organization was officially established as a non-profit organization managed by Sufka and Associates of Washington, DC on December 12, 1992 in Fort Worth, Texas. Presently a Distributor member of PWNA which has over 300 members nationwide.

Also a member of International Sanitary Supply Association (www.issa.org).

Robert is married to Sharon Ann (McGuire) from Plainview, Texas. They have 5 children (4 boys and a girl), and 10 Grandchildren (5 boys and 5 girls). Sharon founded Exquisite Carousel Creations specializing in Carousel Horses of all sizes and Victorian Gifts.

Robert's oldest son Michael Hinderliter is also in the pressure washer business. Michael started Steamaway Mobile Power Wash when he was 18 years old to finance a college education. Michael graduated from UTA with a degree in Accounting and stayed in the Power Wash Contract Cleaning Business. Today Steamaway specialized in Truck Washing and Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning and has over 40 employees.
