INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF Delco’s Clean-Crete.

General Use:

1. Thoroughly remove all trash and debris from the area to be cleaned.
2. Apply Delco’s Clean-Crete directly to the most soiled areas.
3. Using a long handled ice scraper, lightly scrape off the excess oil and grease residue, adding Clean-Crete to this residue as you scrape.
4. Using a wire brush, vigorously work in Delco’s Clean-Crete until the product remains in its clean, natural state.
5. Next, use a SPI G-Pad to work the product into the stained area. Again, continue until the Clean-Crete remains white and in its natural state.
6. Working with the “grain” of the concrete, apply an even coat of Delco’s Clean-Crete to the entire lane, using either an applicator or a broom.
7. Sweep the lane and collect the excess product in a dust pan.
8. Return the collected excess Clean-Crete to the unused product unless it has been severely affected. The soiled product should be discarded according to local regulations.
9. Do not disturb the Clean-Crete that remains on the concrete. The product will continue to work until the next treatment. Do not pressure wash the pad after treating.

For heavily stained areas:

1. Thoroughly remove all trash and debris from the area to be treated.
2. For old, thick stains on the concrete, a small amount of mineral spirits (paint thinner) may be used to break up the stain. Pour the mineral spirits directly onto the stained area, wait a few seconds, then brush the stained area with a wire brush.
3. Spread enough Delco’s Clean-Crete to absorb the mineral spirits. Wire brush the area.
4. Sweep in one direction, then sweep in the opposite direction.
5. Continue this process until Delco’s Clean-Crete remains in its natural state.
6. Dispose of the soiled product according to your local regulations.

For fresh oil spills:

1. Pour Delco’s Clean-Crete on the spill.
2. Brush into the spill as above.
3. Let it remain on for a few minutes.
4. Sweep and collect the product and dispose of according to local regulations.

Note: The surface finish and texture has a large impact on the penetration that Delco’s Clean-Crete can achieve on the stain. If the concrete or pavement has a smooth finish, the spot will clean easier. If the surface has a rough finish, work with the grain of the concrete.
