The Carmel Jumper is our smallest floor model. It is a
beautiful Carousel Horse that can be finished in your specifications. His mane
& tail are gold, fabric on saddle, with gold & silver accent colors. He
is supported by 1 ½" brass poles & a beautiful wooden base. Colors:
Jewel Tones (as pictured). Burgandy, navy, mauve or green. Horse: off white or

This large Exquisite Walker is one of our most
exciting pieces. It stands on a wooden base with a 2" brass pole. His off-white
color with gold mane and tail is a beautiful base for several color choices. He
features a velvet saddle and saddle blanket. His breast plate and hip band are
done a rich tapestry fabric. Color shoices: Burgandy, mauve, green, or navy.

The Philly Jumper shown is a very popular carousel horse. His
saddle is finished in a tapestry fabric. His mane and tail along with trim is

Introduction to Exquisite Carousel's Signature Line of Carousel Horses
In 1990 Sharon Hinderliter formed a company known as Exquisite Carousel Creations. Sharon worked with had carved wooden horses and developed a finished that is not only unique, but also exquisite.
Gail Fields, Sharon's sister joined the company in the fall of 1996
Their mother, who was an artist in her own right, instilled in each of her four children that there was no limit in the development of their talents. Therefore when Gail joined the company, it was a natural blend of creativity and personalities.
There is a rich history and heritage in the carving and development of the Carousel Merry-go-rounds
There were two families that were strong leaders in the carving of Carousel Horses. The Dentizel's owned and operated the Merry-go-round in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mr. Dentizel was primary in the training of not onlyu his son's buyt of two brothers, Daniel and Alfred Muller.
In 1903 Daniel and Alfred formed their own small carving factory. Of the two brothers Daniel Muller was the more inspired artist.
One of the goals of Sharon and Gail was to create their own Signature Line of horses. Being admirers of the Muller and the Classic Carousel, their objective was to create horses with a realism and sensitivityh, as Muller had done and also a realism that a horse lover would appreciate. They also wanted to show sensitivity a child could feel and exquisite beauty and detail that everyone would enjoy.
The sisters began to search for artists that could help them develop their ideas. Their efforts were rewarded when they found Ritchey Hinderliter and his son-in-law, John Gutierrez.
Ritchey, is best known for his western horses, while John, painter and sculptor works more with southwest art.
Working together these sculptors were able to transfer the clay what the sisters visualized for the Signature Line.
John developed the Princess Collection, and Ritchey, the Western Collection.
The artist took their clays sculptors and made molds than all the horses are molded with hard resin materials. Then each animal is hand painted and dressed giving special attention to every detail.
In the Princess Collection we have developed three very exciting horse styles.
