SUBJECT: MOBILE PRESSURE WASHing activities
Your firm has been identified by the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (District) as a company that potentially provides mobile pressure washing services to Sacramento County* businesses. Federal and State regulations require the County to control discharges to its sewer and storm drains. All mobile pressure washers that service Sacramento County businesses are required to fill out an Information Form and a Sewer Use Questionnaire.
The District requests the following within two weeks of receiving this letter:
1. If your business received this letter, then you must fill out and submit the attached Sewer Use Questionnaire. (*If you have filled out a Sewer Use Questionnaire within the last 6 months, you do not have to fill it out again.)
2. If you conduct pressure washing activities within Sacramento County*, please do the following:
v Read the attached Mobile Pressure Washer Fact Sheet
v Submit a completed Mobile Pressure Washer Information Form (required)
Upon receipt of your forms, the District will send you information on the Clean Water Business Partner Program (CWBPP), a free and voluntary program designed to recognize and reward businesses that conduct their operations using Best Management Practices (BMPs) that protect the quality of our local waterways.
